Our Story

Walken Print & Signage is an Aboriginal-owned business built on quality, reliability and strong relationships.

Founded by Jayden Gerrand and Blake Simpson, Walken brings together Aboriginal leadership, commercial thinking and deep production experience to deliver print, signage and branded solutions with care and consistency.

Walken means rainbow in Noongar - reflecting variety, visibility, creativity and the power of bringing ideas to life.

We created Walken to build a business that does great work, values people and grows with purpose.

Who We Are

Our Team

Jayden Gerrand

Co-Founder & Director

Jayden is a proud Whadjuk Noongar man and Co-Founder of Walken. His work has always been driven by connection - to people, to community and to creating meaningful outcomes.

With a background spanning communications, operations, procurement and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement, Jayden brings both strategic thinking and a strong sense of purpose to the business.

Through Walken, he is helping build a brand that reflects culture, values relationships, and delivers quality work with care.

Co-Founder & Director

Blake Simpson

Blake is Co-Founder of Walken and brings deep experience in print, production and client delivery. His work is grounded in quality, reliability and a genuine commitment to getting the details right.

With a practical understanding of the industry and a calm, approachable style, Blake helps ensure Walken delivers work with care, consistency and a high standard from beginning to end.

Community Impact

Walken is more than a printing business. We’re building a business with purpose — one that delivers quality work while staying connected to community.

As an Aboriginal-owned and operated business, community is central to how we think, work and grow.

As Walken grows, a percentage of profits will be directed toward initiatives for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people within education and sport - helping create confidence, connection, skills and opportunity for the next generation.

We know meaningful impact takes time, consistency and accountability, and this commitment is part of the long-term future we’re building.
